An influential jazz vocalist through the 1930’s most widely known for music like Please be sure to Be Kind. She was nicknamed “The Queen of Golf swing”. She proved helpful at Woolworth’s being a sheet music demonstrator after shifting to Seattle at age group seventeen. She was posthumously inducted in to the Big Music group and Jazz Hall of Popularity in 1989. Among her brothers is certainly vocalist and composer Al Rinker.
