Mikhail Lomonosov

Russian scholar and organic scientist who improved the telescope, shaped the idea of continental drift, and predicted the Antarctic continent. He was also a poet who significantly influenced contemporary Russian books. At age group ten he began helping his dad run his dispatch transportation business. All his efforts to science proceeded to go virtually unknown beyond Russia until lengthy after his loss of life. He wedded Elisabeth Zilch in 1740; that they had one girl, Yelena. Like him, Benjamin Franklin also produced important efforts to countless regions of science.
