Legendary Chicago newspaper columnist who wrote more than 7,500 columns during the period of his 3 decade career. He was once a receiver of the Pulitzer in 1972 for Recognized Commentary. He enlisted in america Air Drive in 1952. In 1990, he gained the Country wide Press Club Life time Achievement Prize. He was of Polish and Ukrainian descent on his mother’s and father’s aspect, respectively. Frank Sinatra known as him a “pimp” after he criticized the Chicago Law enforcement Department for offering an around-the-clock safeguard for the crooner.
