Biography

Actor who also won an Emmy Honor for his portrayal of Herman Stiles in the sitcom Night Color. He also performed functions in the movies The Green Mile, The Polar Express, Waterworld, and Jurassic Recreation area III. He went to the University or college of Memphis prior to starting his profession. In 1990, he received a Tony Honor for his overall performance in the Broadway musical Grand Resort. He was created to Virginia and William Claud Jeter. He made an appearance reverse Kevin Zegers in the 1997 family members comedy Air flow Bud.

1Diminutive, balding character actor, son of a dentist. Got his break in films, when hired by Milos Forman for the screen adaptation of the musical 'Hair'. Active on and off Broadway. On screen often as underdogs or little tough guys. His career was at one time interrupted by a problem with alcohol and drug abuse.
2Survived by his life partner, Sean Blue; his parents, Dr. William and Virginia Jeter of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; his brother, William; and four sisters: Virginia, Amanda, Emily, and Larie.
3Revealed his HIV status on Entertainment Tonight (1981) before it could be revealed by any tabloids.
4Won Broadway's 1990 Tony as Best Actor (Featured Role - Musical) for "Grand Hotel, The Musical."
5Won an Emmy for his portrayal of fragile math teacher Herman Stiles on Evening Shade (1990).
6Turned from career in medicine to acting while a student at Memphis State Univ.
7Joined an all-star cast for a tribute to Stephen Sondheim in Great Performances: Sondheim: A Celebration at Carnegie Hall (1993). He performed with James Naughton in a duet called "Waiting for the Girls". (10 June 1992).
