Michael Hartnett

Essential twentieth-century Irish poet who wrote in both British and Gaelic languages. His best-known literary functions consist of Inchicore Haiku, Poems to Younger Females, along with a Necklace of Wrens. He examined at University University, Dublin. A few of his early literary functions include Anatomy of the Cliche and Gypsy Ballads. His statue was erected within the Irish city of Newcastle Western world in 2011 within an annual literary celebration. His relationship to Rosemary Grantley finished in the 1980s due to his have a problem with alcoholism. He and Austin Clarke had been both significant Irish poets from the twentieth century.
