MG Ramachandran

Known for his 1972 Country wide Film Award-winning performance as Selvam within the Tamil-language film Rickshawkaran, this acclaimed acting professional also played starring functions in Malaikkallan, Nadodi Mannan, and several other Tamil motion pictures. Also a politician, he offered for ten years as Main Minister of Tamil Nadu. He produced his on-screen debut within the 1936 film Sathi Leelavathi. For this period, he became associated with the Indian Country wide Congress Party; he later on founded his personal politics party, the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. In 1967, he was non-fatally shot by his long-time colleague, fellow acting professional and politician M.R. Radha. His 1st two wives passed away young; he later on married celebrity and political physique V. N. Janaki. His old sibling, Marudur Gopala Chakrapani, also experienced a successful performing profession. He and fellow politician Jayalalithaa both kept any office of Main Minister of Tamil Nadu.
