Melissa Bishop

Canadian middle distance runner who arranged the nationwide record in the 800 meter event with a period of just one 1:57.43. She earned silver in the 2015 IAAF Globe Championships in Athletics and displayed Canada at the summertime Olympics in 2012 and 2016. She was raised near Lake Doré in Ontario, Canada. She graduated through the College or university of Windsor. Her Globe Tournament medal was the 1st medal ever earned with a Canadian female in the 800 meters. Her parents are Alison and Doug Bishop. She and fellow runner Jared Connaughton both displayed Canada in the Olympic Games.
