Known on her behalf modern interpretations of the original morna tracks of Cape Verde, this well-known singer recorded many acclaimed albums, including Studio 105, Lovely Challenging, and Storia, Storia. When she was simply sixteen years of age, she earned a prominent French music composing contest. After liberating her debut recording, Navega, in 2006, she gained a BBC Radio 3 Globe Music Newcomer Honor. She discovered to speak many dialects, but sang mainly in the Cape Verdean Crioulo tongue. Created in Cuba to a Cape Verdean diplomat dad, she she was raised in many locations, including Cape Verde, Germany, Angola, and Senegal. In her past due teens, she resolved in France.
