Biography

Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who was simply a member from the performing Carter Family, broadly considered the initial family of nation music. She was asked to become listed on the Carter Family members Music group by her brother-in-law. She performed multiple equipment including electric guitar, auto-harp, and banjo. She marred Ezra J. Carter, with whom she acquired daughters Helen, Valerie June, and Anita. Among her daughters, Valerie June, became June Carter Money, the famous vocalist and wife of Johnny Money.
