In 1905 she became the initial American, as well as the initial non-British girl, to win Wimbledon. She transferred from Britain to California at age group six, where she and her three sisters instantly dominated the youngsters tennis games competition. In 1904 she gained the U.S. Open up in both singles and doubles, and produced the finals in blended doubles. In 1912 she wedded fellow golf pro Tom Bundy. Her nephew, John Doeg, was also an effective tennis player.
