Child poet who’s remembered for Heartsongs, a seven-volume, NY Times bestselling function. He passed away at age group thirteen from an atypical type of muscular dystrophy. He composed his initial poem when he was just three years previous. After his loss of life, the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Base was set up in his honor. His mom, Jeni Stapanek, offered as Vice Leader from the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was once interviewed by Oprah Winfrey.

|7||His social workers would sometimes bring him treats into the intensive care unit. Such as barbecued ribs.|
