Matthieu Laurette

French multimedia conceptual designer whose best- known functions included socio-politically themed installations. Granted the Ricard Reward in 2003. He received his formal artwork training in the Ecole d’art de Grenoble. He hosted sophisticated events known as Déjà vu Conventions where superstar look-a-likes fraternized with actual celebrities and performers. He was created and elevated in France and broke in to the worldwide art picture as a guy. He and fellow French designer Joann Sfar had been both born through the 1970s.
