Matthew Friedberger

Guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and one-half from the rock and roll duo The Fiery Furnaces. He also documented several single albums, including Goodbye Forever and Aged Regimes. In his early adulthood, he briefly went to the University or college of Illinois and performed in such rings as Liquorette, The Mezzanines, and Corndolly. His 1st contact with music was at a Greek Orthodox Chapel that he went to along with his grandmother. He and his sister Eleanor created The Fiery Furnaces. He adopted in the footsteps of Jack port White, The White colored Stripes creator, who popularized rock and roll duos.
