An American author known on her behalf works of well-known science, she posted such titles as Stiff: The Inquisitive Lives of Individual Cadavers and Gulp: Adventures for the Alimentary Canal. Her many, award-winning journal content include How exactly to Gain at Germ Warfare as well as the Bamboo Option. In 1981, she graduated from Wesleyan College or university, and worked being a freelance duplicate editor. She released her bestselling reserve, Stiff: The Curious Lives of Individual Cadavers, in 2003. She’s created for GQ, THE BRAND NEW York Times Mag, Wired, Vogue, and Outdoors Magazine. She wedded Ed Rachles, an illustrator. Jointly, the couple got two daughters. She’s been a visitor on Artwork Bell’s radio chat show Coastline to Coastline AM.
