Actress who all gained fame on her behalf function in 1937’s Heidi and 1939’s THE TINY Princess. She acquired a spiritual upbringing at Convent of St. Anne and afterwards worked being a stage celebrity in NY and London. She performed the mom of Katherine Hepburn’s personality in film and stage productions from the Philadelphia Tale. She was briefly wedded to French professional and movie director Jose Ruben. She starred in two movies with Shirley Temple: THE TINY Princess and Heidi.
