Actress who was simply also a ‘M*A*S*H’ screenwriter. She gained an Emmy Prize for playing Loretta Haggers in the series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. She proved helpful as a creation assistant in the Tim Conway Comedy Hour. She’s had roles within the films, THE BEST Chill, The Rainmaker, and Female, Interrupted. She’s a brother along with a nephew called Jess. Dolly Parton sang the back-up vocals on her behalf song “All I COULD Do.”

10She wrote three M*A*S*H (1972) episodes, in conjunction with Linda Bloodworth-Thomason. They were broadcast between December 1973 and December 1974. One of those episodes, M*A*S*H: Hot Lips and Empty Arms (1973), was nominated for a comedy writing Emmy.
11She worked with pop artist, John Stewart, on his 1979 album, "Bombs Away Dream Baby", featuring the hit song, "Gold". She sang background vocals on this LP.
