Mary Karr

Pushcart Prize-winning poet and writer known for The Devil’s Tour as well as the Liars’ Golf club. The latter function, a darkly funny childhood memoir, continued to be on the brand new York Instances Best-Seller List for greater than a yr. She went to Macalester University and Goddard University. She released her debut poetry collection, Abacus, in 1987. She was a teacher of British at Syracuse College or university. She was wedded to Michael Milburn, with whom she got a kid.
