An American fiction writer and women’s suffragist, she actually is most well-known for the novels Prisoners of Wish and To Have got and to Keep. Many of her functions, including Pioneers from the Aged South and Audrey, had been modified into silent movies. During her early years, she was trained in the home by family and tutors. Her books commonly include components of both background and love. She was the Virginia-born child of the Civil Battle veteran-turned attorney. Johnston’s 1911 Civil Battle book, The Long Move, spurred a discord using the widow of Thomas Stonewall Jackson.
