Her popularity greatly extended after she gained an Academy Award on her behalf function as Sandra Kovak in THE FANTASTIC Lie. She began her profession as an adolescent, executing in silent movies. She debuted in the 1920 film The Scarecrow. She was wedded to film movie director Kenneth Hawks until his loss of life. Some state that her greatest function was alongside Humphrey Bogart in The Maltese Falcon.
