Known for his controversial tv series the Crazy Chef and later on his 2014 series Un chef à la cabane, he’s the author from the self-published cookbooks The Recording and Au Pied de Cochon Sugars Shack. He went to l’Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec and gained an apprenticeship with chef Pierre Gagnaire. He opened up his first cafe, Au Pied de Cochon, in 2001. After that in 2008, he satisfied quite a while dream by starting a Sugars Shack, which became among the best 5 best fresh restaurants in Canada as graded by ON THE WAY Magazine. He grew up in a little suburb of Montreal, Canada. He made an appearance for the Quebec bout of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.
