Martin McGuinness

Biography

Irish politician who became the deputy Initial Minister of North Ireland in 2007 and ran in the election to become Chief executive of Ireland in 2011. He became a member of the state IRA in 1969 and was second-in-command from the IRA in Derry at age 21 in 1972. He was the main topic of a two component unique on Central Television called The Make Record in 1993. He wedded Bernadette Canning in 1974 plus they got four kids. He was nominated for deputy First Minister at exactly the same time that Ian Paisley was nominated for First Minister in 2007.
