The first American First Lady who was simply the wife of President George Washington. Her hubby used her prosperity to triple how big is Mount Vernon and find property and slaves. She acquired four kids with her initial hubby Daniel Parke Custis, before he passed away and still left her being a wealthy 25-year-old widow. She was the initial American woman to become featured on the postage stamp in america. Her image was initially published on stamps in 1902. Her parents had been John Dandridge and Frances Jones, both of British descent. She was wedded to George Washington for pretty much two decades before he became leader. They remained wedded until his loss of life in 1799.
