Mark Volman

Singer/songwriter, stone guitarist, and founding person in the 1960’s music group The Turtles, most widely known for their strike “Happy Together.” After graduating from senior high school, he began The Turtles along with Howard Kaylan. The duo would continue steadily to perform collectively as Flo & Eddie. In 1992, Volman returned to school, making his BA from Loyola Marymount College or university, later time for LMU for his MFA. He was created in LA, California, and his parents had been reported to be “perplexed” by their son’s go back to academics. Volman and his Turtle’s partner Howard Kaylan had been also an integral part of The Moms of Invention, famous rocker/composer Frank Zappa’s support band.
