Mark Strand

Poet, writer, and translator who was simply called U.S. Poet Laureate in 1990. His several poetry collections are the Tale of Our Lives, Guy and Camel, and Nearly Invisible. He graduated from Yale University or college having a B.F.A. in painting and later on studied creative composing in the Iowa Authors’ Workshop. He received the 1999 Pulitzer Reward for poetry for Blizzard of 1. He was created on Prince Edward Isle, Canada, and he later on resolved in California. He adored the surrealist artwork of Rene Magritte.
