Mark Hambourg

Kid prodigy considered by some to become the best pianist of his period. He made an appearance in 1941’s THE NORMAL Touch being a pianist nicknamed Chopin. He found its way to London in 1889 after his family members fled the Tsarist routine. He debuted at Princes Hall in July 1890. He nearly boarded the RMS Lusitania in 1915 upon coming back from America, but eventually did not, staying away from a premature loss of life. His dad was pianist Michael Hambourg who was simply educated by Anton Rubinstein, and his brothers had been cellist Boris Hambourg, violinist Jan Hambourg, and musical organizer Clement Hambourg. His 1891 efficiency of Bach on the Steinway Hall impressed playwright George Bernard Shaw who believed that he previously great potential.
