Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings

American author who wrote The Yearling, which became a vintage of young mature fiction and received the Pulitzer Prize in 1939. Her additional notable functions include The Magic formula River, The Sojourner, and several short tales. She developed a pastime in writing young; by enough time she was six, she had been submitting tales to children’s parts of papers.
