Marisol Escobar

French sculptor whose function was influenced by Abstract Expressionism, Pop Artwork, and many additional artistic motions. Her popular sculptures consist of Dust Dish Migrants, Dad Damien, as well as the Party. She analyzed under Hans Hoffman at New York’s New College for Social Study. She also went to the Art College students League of NY and Paris’ Ecole des Beaux-Arts. She made an appearance in two overall performance art films made by pop musician Andy Warhol. She and abstract expressionist musician Willem de Kooning had been close friends and contemporaries. Her admiration for Leonardo Da Vinci motivated a sculpture entitled THE FINAL Supper.
