Marie-Claire Blais

A Canadian writer of takes on, poetry, brief fiction, and almost two dozen books, she is most widely known on her behalf debut book, La Belle Bête. Her functions often contain directed sociable commentary. After going to a convent college, she continuing her education at Quebec’s Universite Laval. She was a receiver of both Prix France-Canada as well as the Governor General’s Literary Honor. She spent many years with her partner Mary Meigs. She and Ginette Reno had been both natives of Quebec.
