Maria Tallchief


American dancer most widely known for starting to be the first Local American prima ballerina. She danced using the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo and the brand new York Town Ballet, executing in such well-known parts as The Nutcracker as well as the Firebird. She broke from public norms at that time for Local American females and transferred to Beverly Hillsides, California with her family members to go after ballet. Her dad was a Key in the Osage Country. She was wedded to George Balanchine for six years. She afterwards wedded Henry “Hype” Paschen, Jr. and continued to be with him until his loss of life in 2004. The few had one little girl, Elise.? She and Galina Ulanova had been both esteemed prima ballerinas.
