Famous aviatrix who spent a lot more than 40,000 hours in the air during the period of her decades-long career. She became thinking about aviation at age eight, when she viewed a barnstormer take flight over her family’s plantation. She started her aviation profession as a global War II-era Ladies Airforce Services Pilot (WASP). Later on, she raced airplanes in twenty Natural powder Puff Derbies. She wedded Morris Ringenberg, a banker, in 1946. Tom Brokaw published about her in his publication, The Greatest Era.
