Margaret Dryburgh

Missionary who was simply captured in Singapore during WWII, and happened captive within a Japan prisoner of battle camp. She was a instructor of Background, French, and Latin before learning to be a Presbyterian missionary. She was known for arranging a Glee Membership and choir with her fellow inmates, before ultimately dying of dysentery. Her mom was also a missionary. Her tale of imprisonment was informed within the movie Paradise Street starring Glenn Close.
