Marcus Hurley

American cyclist who earned four precious metal medals on the 1904 Olympics, and a bronze in the two 2 mile race. He previously won four Country wide Bicycling Championships before getting into the Olympics in 1904. He was for the initial national collegiate golf ball championship group playing for Columbia in 1908. He was the boy of Archibald and Gretta Hurley. He competed within the Olympics eight years prior to the renowned Jim Thorpe emerged around.
