Marcel Theroux

English author and broadcaster who’s most widely known for his 2001 book The Confessions of Mycroft Holmes: A Paper Run after. He was created in Uganda because his dad was teaching at Makerere University or college but he grew up in Wandsworth, London. His publication The Confessions of Mycroft Holmes: A Paper Run after received the Somerset Maugham Award in 2002. His dad Paul was a travel composing and novelist and his more youthful brother Louis is usually a journalist. He received the Somerset Maugham Honor four years before Zadie Smith do.
