Marc-Andre Fleury


NHL goalkeeper who was simply selected first general with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2003 and won a Stanley Glass with the group in ’09 2009. He was chosen to his initial NHL All-Star group in 2011. He performed for Group Canada on earth Junior Championships, earning back-to-back sterling silver medals in 2003 and 2004. His last name translated means rose in bloom, and so his mask generally begun to feature artwork of blooms, using a fleur-de-lys on the trunk. He wedded his longtime partner Véronique LaRose in 2012. He and Véronique possess daughters called Estelle and Scarlett. He supported Martin Brodeur on the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
