Maggie L. Walker

African-American businesswoman who became the initial feminine bank president in the annals of america in 1902. She trained grade college for three years. She was paralyzed and wheelchair-bound from 1928 onward, and offered as a job model for those who have disabilities. Her mom was a previous slave. She and explorer Stephen Austin had been both natives of Richmond, Virginia.
