American track and field athlete who received a gold metallic in the 800 meter race in the 1968 Olympics. She received her education from Tennessee Condition University or college. She founded and became chief executive of america Council for Sports activities Chaplaincy, providing as chaplain at several Olympic video games. She was created in Cleveland, Ohio. She and Michael Johnson both became users of the Country wide Monitor and Field Hall of Popularity.
