Her set of co-authored books contains Professional Privilege (1979), Academics Independence (1992), and America: A Patriotic Primer (2002). She offered as Chairwoman from the Country wide Endowment for the Humanities from 1986 to 1993. In 1995, she founded the American Council of Trustees and Alumni. Her spouse, Dick Cheney, was the Vice Chief executive under U.S. Chief executive George W. Bush. She grew up Presbyterian, but became a member of the Methodist denomination upon marrying Dick Cheney.
