Most famous on her behalf Ernie Pook’s Comeek comic strip, this cartoonist and article writer also penned many image and illustrated novels, including Cruddy (1999), One! 100! Demons! (2002), and What IT REALLY IS (2008). She was this year’s 2009 receiver of the Eisner Prize for Greatest Reality-Based Comic Function. She earned an excellent Arts degree in the Evergreen State University in Olympia, Washington. Her 1998 function THE NICE Times Are Killing Me handles a camaraderie between kids of different races. She modified the reserve into an early on 1990s Off-Broadway play. She was raised in Wisconsin and Washington because the daughter of the Filipina-Irish mother along with a Norwegian-Irish dad. Following her relationship to naturalist Kevin Kawula, she resolved on a Wisconsin dairy products farm. Through the 1980s, she was romantically associated with Country wide Public Radio web host Ira Glass.
