Lucy Ward

Well-known for her critically-acclaimed folk album Adelphi Must Fly, this British vocalist and songwriter released another recording, Single Fire, in 2013. In 2012, she documented a favorite protest single entitled “For the Deceased Men.” In ’09 2009, she was the receiver of 1 of BBC Radio 2’s Youthful Folk Honours. She was highlighted on David Gibb’s 2011 monitor “Gospel of sunlight.” A indigenous from the community of Littleover (in Derbyshire, Britain), she afterwards resolved in the close by Derby suburb of Mickleover. As an associate of a group known as the Cupola Trio, she released a 2012 EP that included a cover from the Alison Krauss melody “When God Dips His Pencil of Love in my own Heart.”
