Served as a co-employee justice from the U.S. Supreme Courtroom from 1888 to 1893. He graduated from Emory University. He previously three counties, that have been situated in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, called in his honor. He was the child of Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar and Sarah Williamson Parrot. He was nominated towards the Supreme Courtroom by Chief executive Grover Cleveland.
