Award-winning puppeteer and librarian who gained popularity as the writer of Senor Cat’s Romance and Additional Favorite Tales from Latin America as well as the Storyteller’s Candle. In 2008, she received the Pura Belpre Children’s Books Honor Medal. She was created in the tiny Cuban city Caimito del Guayabal and relocated to america with her family members at age group 12. She received the Pura Belpre Children’s Books HOnor Medal on her behalf bilingual publication The Bossy Gallito. She resided in Miami and Spain with her parents and her sister. Elizabeth Laird, writer of Crimson Sky each day, also gained popularity like a children’s author.
