Welterweight and light welterweight fighter that has held the WBC Inter-Continental Light Welterweight name. He produced his professional debut on June 4, 2004, earning by TKO against Leandro Almagro. He proceeded to go undefeated in his first 28 professional rounds. His sibling, Walter Matthysse, can be an achieved boxer. On Sept 14, 2013, he dropped his WBC name to Danny Garcia.
