Lubomir Kavalek

Czech-American chess participant who won nationwide championships both in countries. He examined conversation and journalism at Charles School before earning the tournament of Czechoslovakia in 1962 and 1968. He was honored both International Professional and International Grandmaster game titles by FIDE in 1965 and he was inducted in to the Globe Chess Hall of Popularity in 2001.
