During his armed service career, he increased to popularity in the time from the Egyptian Battle as the captain from the HMS Condor. He became a member of the Royal Navy when he was thirteen years of age. He was the receiver of numerous international military awards, like the Grand Cordon from the Order from the Medjidie from the Ottoman Empire as well as the Grand Mix from the Order from the Crimson Eagle of Prussia.
