Lonnie Plaxico

Bassist and person in the Wynton Marsalis Group in the 1980s and champion from the 1978 Louis Armstrong Jazz Honor. He began playing bass at age twelve and continued to record 2 yrs later; he relocated to NEW YORK when he was two decades old. He joined up with the M-Base Collective in the middle-1980s. He was raised in Chicago, elevated with a musical family members. He offers collaborated with a range of music artists, including Dizzy Gillespie.
