Biography

Well-known for gaining admission to Harvard School despite having been homeless during her adolescent years, this New York-born motivational speaker and author posted a bestselling autobiographical work, Breaking Evening, this year 2010. Also a business owner, she founded a business called Express Living. She was created within the Bronx, NY, to parents experiencing drug cravings. After her mom died from problems of Helps, she and her HIV-infected dad became homeless. Determined to flee homelessness, she graduated from NY City’s Humanities Preparatory Academy in only 2 yrs and subsequently went to Harvard School. Her sister likewise escaped poverty, gaining a qualification from Purchase University and learning to be a particular education instructor. Her relationship to Adam Scanlon led to a son called Liam along with a little girl called Maya Jean. She was portrayed by celebrity Thora Birch within a 2003 made-for-television film entitled Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Tale.
