Liz Mitchell

Well-known for her use the disco group Boney M, this dance, pop, and soul vocalist also released such single albums as NOBODY Will Push You and Talk about the entire world. She also briefly belonged to an organization called Malcolm Hair that released a 1974 recording titled Caribbean Stones. In the past due 1960s, she performed inside a German stage creation from the musical Locks, changing the Grammy-winning African-American vocalist Donna Summer season within the starring part. Though known mainly as a vocalist, she also sometimes wrote tracks for Boney M, like the 1981 strike “African Moon” (through the group’s Boonoonoonoos recording). She grew up in Clarendon, Jamaica, and London, Britain. With her spouse, Thomas Pemberton, she founded a music label known as Dove House Information. She and American vocalist John Schlitt both became born-again Christians. Her 2004 recording, Let It Become, was influenced by her trust.
