Linda Gregg

American poet whose best-known works include Things and Flesh, The Sacraments of Desire, and Everything Singing. Her many literary honors are the Whiting Writers’ Award, the Guggenheim Fellowship, and multiple Pushcart Awards. She received her undergraduate and graduate levels from SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA State University. She taught innovative writing on the College or university of Iowa, Columbia College or university, and Princeton College or university. She wedded and afterwards divorced fellow writer and teacher John Brentlinger. Ahead of this relationship, she was romantically associated with poet Jack port Gilbert. She and writer Julie Orringer both received the renowned Pushcart Award on several occasion.
