Lidiya Skoblikova

Russian speed skater who earned six Olympic precious metal medals, including 4 in 1964 on the Innsbruck Olympics. She experienced for the Soviet Globe Championships group at age 19 and positioned third in the Country wide Championships. She gained 4 silver medals on the 1964 Olympics in the 500 meter, 1,000 meter, 1,500 meter, and 3,000 meter. She actually is the mother-in-law of quickness skater Nataliya Polozkova. She was the initial Olympian to earn 4 quickness skating events in a single calendar year and Eric Heiden was the first ever to win 5.
