Discus thrower known to be the first Chinese language athlete to gain a world name in the activity. She earned a sterling silver medal on the 2012 Olympics. She initial competed on her behalf country on the 1999 Globe Championships. She earned her initial medal, a bronze, on the 2000 Asian Championships. She went to Tianjin Norman College or university and has earned gold medals on the Asian Championships, East Asian Video games, and Continental Glass. She was raised in Heilongjiang, China. While she in fact finished third on the 2012 Video games, second-place Darya Pishchalnikova was disqualified after tests positive for steroids, offering the sterling silver to Yanfeng.
